About
I'm from Paris and still live here, which means I'm surrounded by the language and culture I teach every day. Beyond French, I speak English, Spanish, and Mandarin, so I understand what it's like to learn a language from the ground up. I've always loved teaching. There's something special about helping someone connect with a new language and the world it opens up. Students often tell me I'm calm and happy, and I think that makes learning feel less stressful and more natural. Outside of teaching, I'm drawn to travel, cooking, reading, and exploring the outdoors. I lived in Santiago, Chile for a while, and that time shaped how I see both language and culture. I'm also interested in technology and spend time volunteering. When I'm home, you'll usually find me with my dog.
Teaching Experience
I teach French through conversation, which means we jump into speaking from day one. I bring real materials — articles, films, podcasts — whatever connects to what you actually want to learn. My lessons are goal-based, so we work toward something concrete: maybe you want to understand a favourite singer, chat with family, or just think in French. I also weave in storytelling and immersion where it feels natural. I teach adults and teens best, especially if you're starting from scratch. I match the pace to how you're feeling that day rather than rushing through a set plan. Lessons are 50 minutes, and I correct you as we go so patterns stick. I only give homework if you ask for it. Your first lesson is just a casual chat so I can get to know you and understand what brings you to French. After ten lessons together, my hope is that you'll have fallen in love with the language itself.
