About
Hi! I'm Sofía, a native Spanish speaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm passionate about languages, cultural exchange, and helping people connect through communication.
I've been teaching languages for several years, working with students of different ages, backgrounds, and levels. I'm also CELTA-qualified in English teaching and currently completing my degree in English Translation.
I love meeting people from different cultures and sharing the small details that make a language unique, from everyday expressions to how people communicate in real life.
As a native Argentine Spanish speaker, I can help you discover authentic Argentine Spanish and feel more comfortable communicating with locals. Whether you're planning a trip to Buenos Aires, already living in Argentina, or simply interested in learning Spanish, I'd love to be part of your journey!
Teaching Experience
My lessons are friendly, practical, and adapted to your goals and current level. I believe learning a language should be an enjoyable experience, where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing yourself without fear.
We can focus on everyday conversation, useful vocabulary, pronunciation, and authentic Argentine expressions. I encourage my students to speak as much as possible, while providing helpful corrections and feedback to help them improve naturally.
A typical lesson may include a relaxed conversation, a topic or real-life situation, guided speaking practice, and useful vocabulary to take away and practise.
If you're an English speaker, I can also use English to clarify difficult concepts or explain differences between English and Spanish when needed.
My goal is to help you speak Spanish more confidently, learn at your own pace, and enjoy discovering Argentine language and culture along the way!
