About
My name is Ms. Rita an English tutor with 6+ years of teaching experience across Preply, Tuteria, and language academies, working with students from Early Years through IGCSE/GCSE, A-Level, and SAT prep. TEFL-certified, with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry that shows up in how I explain things structured, step-by-step, no fluff. I love reading, travelling and cooking.
Teaching Experience
What my Lesson Looks Like Every session starts with a 2-minute check-in on what's tricky right now, then targeted a practice, not generic worksheets. My learners are to expect real-time correction, confidence, building feedback, and a short recap of what to review before next time. I teach on Zoom, Google Meet, ClassIn, or VooV , whatever platform you're comfortable with. Why Students Stick With Me I tailor pace and materials to each student instead of running one script for everyone, a strong student and a struggling one get different lessons, even on the same topic. Parents get progress updates; students get a tutor who remembers what confused them last week and builds on it.
