I'm from Honduras and still live here. I speak both English and Spanish, which helps me connect with students learning English from a Spanish-speaking background. Outside of teaching, I love films, travel, and music. These interests keep me curious about the world and different cultures, which I think comes through in how I work with people. I've always loved teaching, so becoming an English tutor felt natural to me. I'm patient and calm by nature, and students often tell me I'm very patient and that I really listen to them. That matters to me — I want students to feel heard, not rushed.
Teaching Experience
I build lessons around your specific goals, using a mix of conversation practice, films, podcasts, and custom slides. Materials shift depending on what works best for you in that moment. I keep lessons to 25 minutes and move at a patient pace, letting skills settle before pushing forward. I don't ask you to memorize without understanding, and I don't interrupt constantly to correct every mistake. Instead, I save corrections for the end of the lesson so you can focus on communicating freely. I adapt everything—pace, level, materials—to match where you actually are. In your first lesson, I'll get to know you, learn your goals, and have a brief conversation to spot what you do well and where you need support. Then I'll build a learning plan tailored to you. After ten lessons, you'll be able to understand everyday conversations, communicate with more confidence, and use basic vocabulary and grammar structures naturally in real situations.
